The verbena and white florals make this so much more refined than a basic lemon candle—I can actually smell the layers as it burns. The tart lemon comes through first, but the softer notes linger for hours after I blow it out.

I lit this in the kitchen and the tart lemon hits first, but that Italian verbena keeps it from being sharp—it’s got a soft, floral roundness that lingers nicely. The orange and lemongrass make it feel brighter than your average citrus candle.

The verbena note is what sold me—it’s fresh without being sharp, and the citrus stays bright for hours without turning soapy. I caught myself sniffing the air every time I walked past the candle. It’s the kind of scent that makes a rainy afternoon feel sunny.
