Gestoofde Cider

Every time I light it, the mulled apple and clove notes fill the room so convincingly that I half-expect to smell fresh-baked pie drifting in from the kitchen. The cardamom keeps it from being too sweet, more like a real simmering pot than a candle. It’s become my Sunday afternoon ritual.

I live in a small apartment, and one spritz of this instantly makes the whole place smell like I’ve been baking apple pies all afternoon. The crushed clove and cardamom underneath the apple is what sells it—it’s warm without being too spicy. Definitely stocking up before the season ends.

The clove and cardamom notes come through beautifully, making my whole entryway smell like a simmering pot of mulled cider the second I light it. I've gotten three compliments from guests already, and the throw is strong without being overpowering.
